TOUGHENED SAFETY GLASS

Toughened safety glass, also known as tempered glass, is a type of safety glass that is thermally treated to increase its strength compared to normal glass. It is designed to shatter into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards, reducing the risk of injury. This makes it an ideal choice for applications where safety and durability are paramount.

LAMINATED SAFETY GLASS

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that consists of two or more layers of glass bonded together with an interlayer. This design holds the glass together if shattered, enhancing safety by preventing it from breaking into pieces. Laminated glass is commonly used in applications requiring enhanced security, sound insulation, and structural strength.

CUSTOM CURVED GLASS

Curved glass is shaped into a curved form through a specialized heating and bending process after toughening. This type of glass is used to achieve unique architectural and design aesthetics, providing both functional and visual appeal. Sharpeye is one of the few local manufacturers able to produce curved laminated, single, and double glazing.

DOUBLE GLAZING (IGU)

Double glazing involves two panes of glass separated by a spacer and sealed to create an insulating air or argon gas filled space between them. This design enhances thermal insulation, reduces noise, and increases energy efficiency by minimizing heat transfer. It is commonly used in windows and doors to improve the comfort and energy performance of buildings. Sharpeye also offers Low E coating for double glazing units.

ULTRACLEAR + TINTED GLASS

Ultra clear or low-iron glass is the luxurious alternative to standard glass which often has a light green tint. It’s high transparency allows for seamless, uninterrupted transitions between inside and out. Sharpeye also stocks various tinted glass options to match a range of architectural aesthetics

MIRRORS + TEXTURED GLASS

Sharpeye has different types of mirror glass available, suited to both wet (copper free) and dry applications. If privacy is desired, sandblasted frosty glass is an excellent choice for external applications.Our factory also custom cuts specialty or textured glass such as reeded glass, which offers both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits, such as privacy and light diffusion
